This is the trip for people eager to see the east of Poland. We will take you to the Lublin Upland, stretching east from the Vistula and San Rivers. Firstly, our guide will show you the ruins of the castle in Janowiec, which was built in the early 16th century. Through many years and changing owners the castle grew to more then 100 rooms, but Swedish Deluge and two world wars ruined it. You can climb a few levels to the platforms to admire perspective views and visit a few rooms, decorated and furnished as they would have been in the 17th and 18th centuries. In the park surrounding the castle you might also see Open Air Architecture Museum with manor and farm buildings moved here from the area of Lublin.
Then our guide will take you to Kazimierz Dolny, famous for its rich history, picturesque medieval houses and wonderful architecture. Here we invite you for a short walk, during which you will see the White House, Celej House, St. Nicolas and Christopher Houses, The Tower and The Parish Church.
Later we take you to Lublin - the biggest city in the region. Here our guide will lead you along winding streets of the Old Town. You will see Cracow Gate, Old Town Hall, Market Square and the Royal Castle, which served as a prison for over 130 years. The main attraction of the castle is the incredible Trinity Chapel, enrolled in the UNESCO cultural heritage list. It is covered from floor to the ceiling with 15th century Russian-Byzantine frescoes.

The next stop is in Majdanek, situated 4 km southeast of Lublin. Here the Nazi concentration and extermination camp was established in 1941. It is the best-preserved camp of the Holocaust, because Nazis had only 3 months for evacuation before the Soviet Red Army arrived. They managed to destroy only the crematoria.
The last stop is Kozlowka, where you can visit the Zamoyski family palace, with impresive collection of paintings and furniture from 17th-19th centuries. If you are interested in communism time we invite you also to the Socialist – Realist Art Gallery, with unusual exhibition having a political-didactic-artistic character.
